This paper examines the feasibility of CDMA-based communication in
wireless ad hoc networks. In particular, it investigates the benefits
of canceling out the k strongest interfering connections by multiuser
interference reduction techniques. We present simulation results that
show that k=4 usually suffices for low bit error rate CDMA communication
in presence of reasonable topology constraints.
