This document demonstrates, that Netscape 3.01 is not at all cooperative when executing a JavaScript program. Here it executes an infinite loop. Note that it is not possible to terminate the loop by clicking the STOP button, or the BACK button or selecting an item from a menu.

Of course Netscape also does not grant CPU time to any other applications (as required on a cooperative operating system like MacOS or Windows). The only way out of this document is to hard kill Netscape. (Cmd-Alt-Esc on MacOS, Cntr-Alt-Del on Windows Systems)
